Makan: Fried oyster, Swatow Lane, Penang

For a long time, I wandered in my quest for the perfect fried oyster, having scoured KL, Penang, Kedah & Perak for the best one, but the only one I had was a remnant of memory from a hidden restaurant in Pandamaran, Klang.

In my visit to Penang this time, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the best was hidden all this while in Swatow Lane in Penang, where AQ took me there on Friday ... and from the start, it looked great ... with the crispy egg sides, laden with juicy oysters, where the sight was one to behold ... but even more ... when I sunk my lips into them, it was pure ecstasy of having found the pot at the end of the rainbow ...

And all for the measly sum of RM6, I had the most appetising, no ... delectable omelette in ages ... so this is one place I shall keep in mind to pilgrim to in Penang in my next visit ... truly a hiddne treasure ... YUM!!!!
