Price for appreciation ...

My old friend DKY just got a salary raise … a 75% increase … shucks … that is a HUGE one + promo to manager for his dept. Good deal for him la … some more when only he throw in letter, baru they countered. As a Malay proverb says, when the man is down, only people start to take concern. But the staggering increase was shocking since they have refrained from giving him a raise for so long … anyway, he got a little more streetwise nowadays, D boy also asked for much more (probably cos he’s drinking Pepsi thse days).

Well, he deserved it cos he worked so hard for them for so long & remain loyal, but still got shitty pay until he finally saw light & applied for a position elsewhere. So, it kinda got him a better deal, much more than what he expected.

Anyway the oh-so opportunistic me made him promise to buy me lunch soon … yes, the most expensive place I can find in town … MWAHAHAHA!!!

What should it be??? Mmmmm hmmm …
