Though my feeling was ecstatic when told of my success to become MC, the feeling was overwhelming as I crossed the Austro-Slovak border … I would have kissed the floor if the bus allowed me to go down.
I recalled all these last week when I was at Borders … I chanced upon the Lonely Planet book for Czech & Slovakia … and it’s a nice warm feeling to look at the Slovak map & trace my trail around the country.
First – Bratislava, it was great to see pictures of the town centre, the Novy Most (New Bridge), the Bratislava Castle, and the map of Bratislava town centre … I closed my eyes then and immediately transported myself to be strolling down the Racianska in autumn, winter & spring … enjoying palacinka (pancakes) in the office … overseeing Bratislava from the Slavin memorial … just too many moments to recapture.
I remember vividly about
Do u like small picturesque towns? You’ll love Banska Bystrica & Banska Stiavnica … with a lot of olden structures & walk only town centres … simply remnants of a bygone era.
Being a mountain type of person, I love the Vysoke Tatry mountains and will forever remember the feeling of walking around the place, in the nice spring weather … it’s like those
And these are moments I lived & will remember … for my lifetime.
Can’t wait to return to
