Housewarming at SF's
My usual MC gang (plus extended family of BU Boys and UPMers) met up recently at SF’s housewarming party & what can say, except that this bunch of people has been keeping in touch recently?
The Lees, the Lings and KP arrived before me, so I just caught the tour de house in time (just missed the kitchen) but good enough to see the hotel-like bedroom and the wonderful ‘hidden’ fridge on the 2nd floor (which KF was dumbfounded by it’s location in a wardrobe (though I think it’s a cool concept)
Now, after a brief moment hanging out in the TV room (there’s so many rooms in the house that it’s cool … one for TV, one for guest, one for dining, one which looked like a store … ), we adjourned outside for some chow-chow.
So, then goes our usual barrage of jokes & ‘stories for the posse’ … with KF playing the extended role of ‘gracious host’ pouring wine non-stop into our glasses (it must be the most I drank at any party, sigh). The best of the food would be the chicken wings, which I believe most guys took 2nd servings …
So while sitting under the tent, we also took a chance to observe the security system with it’s sensors, spotlights, the wonder fence (with missing pinnacles) and yes, the new lawn freshly laid out.
Anything interesting? Finally met fellow blogger Christina (did not talk too much as KF labeled me the stalking blogger, he & his usual terlalu-ness) … there was also a violin performance by someone and yes, the party had 2 notable politicians from MCA present. Luckily they did not release KF’s favourite dog (which bit him sometime ago). Now I am only dreaming of buying my 1st plasma TV like the one they have (but 15k ... sighhhhhhhh)
